In the interests of ensuring higher service and quality for its customers, Meco Oostende has introduced the Reflex Internet Order application. This web shop is linked to the database of their Reflex 3000 ERP system. This enables the Meco customers to place orders directly via the internet. It also allows the customer to access their prices, articles, order history, delivery notes and invoices at any given moment. In addition, there is an IOrder App for the smart phone and tablet, which means that entering orders is no longer time and place specific.
The Internet Order application enables Meco to process orders better and quicker.
Meco was established in 1976. Together with the support of their father, Johan, the twin brothers Jurn & Niek Van Steenkiste put their young, but enthusiastic shoulders to the wheel. As a result of their daily drive and dedication, the meat processing company systematically emerged as a well-respected partner for numerous catering companies, hospitals, prisons, nursing and care homes. Their drive was rewarded in the form of a considerable increase in revenue. The big change that Meco made in 2008, made them look for a new production unit. This was achieved at the start of October 2012: a gigantic increase of capacity with a total area from 1000m2 to 7500m2.
